You wait. Give it a couple of months and the plastic coating around the metal (yes it is there, just not obvious) will start peeling off, the ink between the letters and the back lighting will start moving and the controller will occasionally light up everything all by itself. Not a bad device, worth a tenner but certainly not worth the money I spent on it

Hi Roger - I got it from a car boot sale. The guy had hundreds of them. All unboxed, without instructions but with batteries. Now I know how much they are going for, I'm annoyed that I didnt buy loads for eBay and friends. Unfortunately, I'm working next Sunday so wont get the chance to go back, but I might see if Shell can get there and buy several. If she does, I'll let you know.
